Grand Slam

AEW Rampage taping results from Flushing, New York, USA 🇺🇸 at Arthur Ashe Stadium on 9/21/22:

Sting and Darby Allin defeat Brody King and Buddy Matthews (with Julia Hart) in a No Disqualification Match when Sting pinned Matthews after a Scorpion Death Drop. The Great Muta came out and it looked like he was going to attack Sting (who was tied up and forced to sit in a chair in the ring). Muta gave Matthews a dragon screw leg whip and then sprayed mist in his face. Matthews stumbled backwards and knocked Julia Hart off of the ring as she was standing on the apron. The impact sent her crashing down into a table on the floor. Sting and Muta showed each other big respect afterwards.

Hook and Action Bronson defeated Matt Menard and Angelo Parker by simultaneous submission holds with a pair of Redrums on each of their opponents.

TBS Champion Jade Cargill (with The Baddies) pinned Diamantè (with Trina) after Jaded. Trina turned on Diamante and celebrated with Jade after the match.

Samoa Joe and Wardlow defeated Tony Nese and Josh Woods (with Smart Mark Sterling) when Joe pinned Nese after a Muscle Buster. Sterling was powerbombed a few times after the match.

Jungle Boy pinned Rey Fenix. Christian sent Luchasaurus to attack Jungle Boy again after the match. Christian cut a gloating promo on JB.

Sammy Guevara defeated Eddie Kingston by Disqualification in a Reversed Decision. Kingston originally won by submission but he refused to let go of the hold after the bell. He snapped over the decision after the match and beat up security.

Hangman Adam Page won the Golden Ticket Battle Royal by eliminating Rush last. Page will get a AEW World Title shot at Jon Moxley on AEW Dynamite on Oct. 18 in Cincinnati, Ohio (Mox's hometown).

Ricky Starks pinned Powerhouse Hobbs in a Lights Out Match after the Roshambo in the main event. Tables and chairs were used as some of the weapons. Hobbs' leg landed roughly on a chair during the finish.
