AEW Rampage Results From Detroit On June 29, 2022

AEW Detroit Debut

AEW debut in Detroit, Michigan, USA at Litte Cesars Arena on 6/29/22. Here are AEW Rampage tapings results which will air Friday at 10pm EST on TNT:

Detroit Red Wing legend Darren McCarty is at the show sitting at ringside.

There was a lot of time between the end of AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage while they cleaned the rings. Eddie Kingston's back gave out during the action on top of the Blood and Guts cage and he was slow to get up. Everyone had to climb down the cage of course and Jon Moxley was the last one down. Santana hurt his leg in the Blood and Guts match and was taken out of the ring.

Tony Khan came out after AEW Dynamite and thanked the crowd for being so enthusiastic during the show. He said he would like to come back to Detroit to have a pay-per-view.

The Royal Rampage Battle Royal opened the Rampage taping. It started off with Hangman Page vs. Powerhouse Hobbs in one ring and Darby Allin vs. Tony Neese in the other ring. Rush unmasked Penta Oscuro during the match. Brody King eliminated Darby Allin to win the inaugural match and earn a future AEW Interim World Title Match against Jon Moxley. King put Allin in a standing choke hold on the ring apron then released the hold to drop him to the floor for the elimination.

AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks defeated Yoshi Hashi and Hiroki Goto via a Metlzer Driver in a non-title match.

Toni Storm pinned Nyla Rose. Marina Shafir attacked Storm after and Thunder Rosa made the save.

Tony Khan, Danhausen, Orange Cassidy, John Silver, and -1 got in the ring to group hug Storm and Rosa to close the show.
