"The Muscle Idol" Reika Saiki Retires

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling "YES! Wonderland 2022" results from Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵 at Korakuen Hall on 5/3/22 live on WRESTLE UNIVERSE:

Princess Tag Team Champions Yuka Sakazaki and Mizuki defeated Hikari Noa and Nao Kakuta when Mizuki pinned Noa with the Cutie Special. This was supposed to be the co-main event but Sakazaki has a flight to America later today. She is booked for AEW this week.

A video was shown of Reika Saiki's career in the company. She is a former Princess of Princess Champion and a former Princess Tag Team Champion (with Marika Kobashi). She won the Tokyo Princess Cup Tournament on 7/30/2017 by defeating Yuka Sakazaki in the finals after her Jackhammer finisher in 10:17 in Tokyo at Shinjuku FACE. She hasn't wrestled in nearly three years. She moved on from TJPW in 2019 to mainly work for the now defunct WRESTLE-1 where she was trained and started her career. She briefly held the AWG Title in 2019 for Actwres girl'Z but had to vacate it after suffering a broken jaw in a tag team match on 8/29/2019. She and Hanako Kakamori lost to Himeka Arita and Yumiko Hotta in that Actwres girl'Z match. She ended up needing surgery to repair her jaw.

Reika Saiki went to a 3-minute time limit draw with Arisu Endo. This was Saiki's retirement match. Miyu Yamashita and Yuka Sakazaki gave Saiki flowers after the match. (She defeated Sakazaki for the Princess of Princess Title on 8/26/2017 here at Korakuen Hall in 14:36 once again with the Jackhammer. She lost it to Yamashita here on 1/4/2018). Saiki said it's been a long time since she wrestled and she was glad that she was able to have a final match. She said she debated retiring for months but decided it was the right decision. The bell rang to signal the end of her career.

Yuna Manase came to the ring to plug the Ganbare show which will take place in the venue at 18:30 Japan Time. That event will also be live on WRESTLE UNIVERSE and the service is currently offering a free two week trial membership.

Suzume pinned Juria Nagano after the Ring A Bell.

Yuki Arai, Miu Watanabe, and Rika Tatsumi defeated Yuki Aino, Raku, and Pom Harajuku when Arai pinned Harajuku after the Finally axe kick. Maki Itoh and Miyu Yamashita defeated Hikaru Shida and Moka Miyamoto when Yamashita pinned Miyamoto after the Skull Kick.

Princess of Princess Champion Shoko Nakajima pinned Hyper Misao after the diving senton. Nakajima said it is a pleasure to wrestling with and against Misao. They hugged and Misao left the ring. Nakajima said she wants to defend the title at the upcoming CyberFight Festival on 6/12/2022 at Saitama Super Arena. That show will feature matches from all of the brands that CyberAgent owns- TJPW, DDT, NOAH, and Ganbare Pro.
