TJPW results from Tokyo, Japan at Ota Ward General Gymnasium on 7/9/22 live on WRESTLE UNIVERSE:

Willow Nightingale is off the card due to visa issues. She was supposed to have a match against Miu Watanabe today. Watanabe will now face Ryo Mizunami.

The fans are allowed to cheer once again for the first time since the virus pandemic started. Everyone is still required to have masks on. Streamer ribbons in the ring before the matches are back as well with this event.

Moka Miyamoto defeated Juria Nagano by submission with the  Rashomon.

Aja Kong, Yuki Aino, Raku, and Pom Harajuku defeated Hyper Misao, Nao Kakuta, Kaya Toribami, and Haruna Neko when Aino pinned Toribami after the Venus DDT.

Ryo Mizunami pinned Miu Watanabe after the Hot Limit. Watanabe did manage to give her an impressive looking Giant Swing during the match.

Hikaru Shida and Hikari Noa defeated Yuki Kamifuku and Mahiro Kiryu when Shida pinned Kiryu after the Arawashi Driver.

A video was shown advertising Max The Impaler coming to the company on 8/13/22 and 8/14/22 at Korakuen Hall.

Mei Suruga and Suzume defeated Riho and Arisu Endo when Suzume pinned Endo after the Ring A Bell.

They announced Go Girl 3 will take place on 8/28/22 at Korakuen Hall. It's another event where only female fans are allowed. A new company logo will debut at the show.

Alex Windsor pinned International Princess Champion Maki Itoh after the Libertine Driver to win the title. The crowd was stunned silent as nobody expected the title change. This was Windsor's TJPW debut.

A taped Thunder Rosa promo aired. She said if Miyu Yamashita can beat her today she will give her an AEW Women's Title shot in America.

Miyu Yamashita pinned Thunder Rosa by reversing an inside cradle. They shook hands after. Yamashita pointed to the AEW Women's Title and Rosa nodded in approval. The title match could happen this month. Yamashita is booked in America for Garden State Pro Wrestling on 7/23/22 in Newark, New Jersey where she will be in a 3-Way Match vs. Billie Starkz vs. Janai Kai. An AEW appearance would seem likely during her trip.

Yuki Arai and Saki Akai defeated Princess Tag Team Champions Yuka Sakazaki and Mizuki to win the titles when Akai pinned Mizuki (who took a beating in the match) after a double team New Face Award with Arai. Very strong match. Arai immediately tackled Sakazaki to stop her from getting back in the ring so she couldn't break up the pin.

Princess of Princess Champion Shoko Nakajima pinned Rika Tatsumi after the diving senton. The closing minutes were suspenseful. Tatsumi had her trapped in the Dragon Sleeper for the longest time. It looked like the referee was going to call for the bell but Nakajima flipped out of the hold and gave Tatsumi a DDT to set up the finish.
