Women’s Wrestling Army Results, Upcoming WWA Events

The new Women's Wrestling Army company is airing their episodes for free on the brand new Pro Wrestling TV streaming service. Everything available to view currently is from the WWA tapings that took place in Providence, Rhode Island, USA at Fete Music Hall on 5/1/22.

WWA recently taped a few matches on 6/26/22 in Chicago (before Warrior Wrestling's show) for future Pro Wrestling TV airings.

There will be a WWA double header weekend of tapings on 7/8/22 and 7/9/22 back in Chicago at Logan Square Auditorium at 7pm CST.

Here are the results of the first WWA episode called "The Journey Begins":

Alyssa Marino and Lenny Leonard are the broadcast team. They brought out Maria Kanellis-Bennett to the ring. She is the co-owner of WWA.

Maria said she is The First Lady of Pro Wrestling. She thanked the fans for coming and thanked all of the women who paved the way as well as the new generation of women in the back. She talked about being a former WWE star and moving from company to company in her career while also being a mother.

They showed a nice taped interview from the highly underrated Miranda Alize. She said she has been in the pro wrestling business for 10 years now. Outside the ring she is a physical therapist and she owns her own business. She said she has been keeping her wrestling schedule light lately because of her other schedules.

Laynie Luck said when she first heard about WWA she was cautious because she never knows about new pro wrestling groups starting up. She said she trusts who is behind WWA and they will all work together to try to make it a success.

Miranda Alize pinned Layine Luck after the Shining Wizard.

Alisha Edwards did a lighthearted interview with Allysin Kay and Marti Belle backstage.

Big Swole talked about being in the military. She said she is a shooter and showman. She talked about representation and inclusion and wanting to be a role model.

Trish Adora called Maria a genius and she is happy to be part of this. Adora grew up watching pro wrestling with her family. She wants to inspire people to become new fans and future wrestlers.

Trish Adora went to a 15-minute time limit draw with Big Swole. It happened just as the referee was at the count of nine after they both knocked each other down to the mat with clotheslines. The clock running out stopped it from being a Double Knock Out decision.

WWA Episode 2 is called "Champ vs. Champ":

Janai Kai talked about getting into combat sports at age six. She said she broke her neck a few years ago but recovered. She said she didn't think she would be alive or able walk again. She's thankful to be able to wrestle.

Nicole Savoy talked about being into video games and comics. She said her dad didn’t want her to wrestle at first and he was never a fan of pro wrestling. Then he saw clips on YouTube to see that there was more to pro wrestling than just bra and panties matches.

Nicole Savoy defeated Janai Kai by ankle lock submission.

Alisha Edwards interviewed Mazzerati backstage to hype the next match.

CCW Network Champion Kayla Sparks pinned Mazzerati after a Tornado DDT off the ropes.

Alisha Edwards did an interview with Tasha Steelz.

Taya Valkyrie said she hates women being put into a box and they can do anything in pro wrestling. She said she debated quitting wrestling after being released from WWE but she loves performing. She said she has been having the most fun of  her life now going around the world having dream matches.

Tasha Steelz (as Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion at the time) pinned AAA Women's Champion Taya Valkyrie after a rake of the eyes followed by a super kick and a cutter. Neither title was on the line.
